My Review:
I LOVED this book so much. I think it's not as dark as Pepper's other books. In my opinion it's a beautiful romantic story.
Sometimes, all it takes is for a woman to show them that no matter how bad things are, forgiveness is easy if there is love.
I loved Elder. I loved to read about how he fought with himself. He knew his problems, and he wanted to save Pim from himself, from more pain and suffering.
In this book Pim was stronger. She was fighting to be stronger and be a woman who could save Elder. Now Pim was the savior, and Elder needed guadiance.
No distance or avoidance could cure me. Because I was no longer falling. I'd crashed and burned and had no possible way of getting up.~Elder
There was the continuous threat from the Chinmoku. This made the story more interesting. Elder became more vulnerable because of this. Pim became a new target for them. I was jittery because I didn't know what would happen. Will they kidnap or hurt Pim again??? I hardly dare to put down the book!
This book and this series is so so interesting. And now I want the next book in the series. I hate cliffhangers, but I can't wait with Pepper's books. I need to read them immediately!
I recommend this book to those who love dark-romance, but I have to tell you that this book isn't as dark as the author's other books. It's a romantic story, with a man who isn't just a hero but a criminal too. A romantic story with a really strong heroine who went through really awful things. I respect Pim's character because of this, because she could stand up and be a more healthy and alive woman.
Under no circumstances do you let the should-dos dictate and steal your life. It's too short, Min. It's too easy to screw up. Be true to yourself and follow your heart. Only then can you look back and have no regrets.
Honestly I was afraid how his book would end. And I'm so curious how they would be together, how they would overcome the barriers between them, how they would fight for their love. I really want to read about their happily ever after! And the twist in the end.... amazing!! I need the next book right now!!! 😊 5*

Egyszerűen imádtam ezt a könyvet. Szerintem annyira nem is dark-romance kategóriába tartozik, inkább volt ez romantikus könyv szerintem. Elder karakterét nagyon szerettem! Jó volt olvasni arról ahogy harcolt önmagával. Tudta mik a saját problémái, és meg akarta ettől menteni Pim-et mindenképpen. Nem akarta, hogy többet szenvedjen, és nem akart neki fájdalmat okozni. Ebben a részben Pim már erősebb volt. Folyamatosan harcol azért hogy egyre erősebb legyen, azért, hogy megmenthesse Eldert, segíthessen Elder-nek. Most ő volt a megmentő, és Elder-nek volt szüksége iránymutatásra, segítségre.
Ami érdekessé, izgalmassá tette a könyvet, hogy jelen volt a Chinmoku folyamatos fenyegetése. Elder támadhatóbb lett, mert egy újabb célpontja keletkezett így a Chinmokunak.
Idegeskedtem, hogy vajon mi fog történni? Elrabolják újra Pim-et? Vagy újra bántani fogják??? Alig mertem letenni a könyvet!
Ez a könyv és ez a sorozat nagyon nagyon érdekes! Alig várom, hogy megjelenjen a következő rész! Utálom a függővéget, de nem tehetek róla, Pepper Winters könyveit azonnal olvasnom kell amint megjelennek!
Szóval ajánlom ezt a könyvet azoknak, akik szeretik a dark-romance kategóriát, de figyelmeztetek mindenkit, hogy ez nem annyira durva történet. Ez egy romantikus sztori egy pasiról, aki nem csak hős, hanem bűnöző is. Egy szerelmi történet egy nőről aki rettentően erős, és tényleg szörnyű dolgokon ment át. Pim karaktere tiszteletre méltó, nagyon jó volt olvasni, ahogy fel tud állni és újra erős, élettel teli nő tud lenni.
Őszintén szólva tartottam attól, hogyan fog végződni a történet. Annyira szeretném olvasni a 'Boldogan éltek míg meg nem haltak' befejezést. Nagyon kíváncsi vagyok, hogyan találnak újra egymásra, hogyan győzik le a kapcsolatuk előtt álló akadályokat, hogyan harcolnak a szerelmükért. És a könyv végén lévő csavar... eszméletlen! Kérem a következő részt!!! 😊
